Cream, also known as Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz, has been a resident DJ of iconic clubs such as „Reno” in Jaroslaw, the „Chilli” club in Rzeszow, and currently „Grand Club” in Rzeszow and „Insomnia” in Mielec. His contribution to the development of the local club scene was recognized in 2022 with the „Polish Electronic Music Awards” or the „MUNOLUDY” Polish Club Scene Award in the DJ category, where he secured the honorable 2nd place, repeating his success from 2014 when he was in the 3rd position. Since 2009, he has been one of the pillars of Angelo Mike’s „Sentence” agency. Since 2013, his own shows, titled „TERMINAL”, have been broadcast on one of the world’s best stations showcasing electronic music, American Proton Radio. In 2015, he joined forces with Deep Fog to form a production duo. Their shared passion for electronic music resulted in several releases on globally acclaimed labels. In 2016, they won a remix competition for the legendary Moonbeam. Their debut single, „Kiki”, claimed the top spot on the club charts of the Polish FTB portal.
In December 2019, Cream was invited to the prestigious radio show on Frisky Radio, featuring the biggest global names in the electronic music industry as „Artist Of The Week”. The well-received program led to a lasting collaboration with Frisky Radio, and in February 2020, he started another series of shows called „Odyssey”, quickly gaining a large audience worldwide. In the year-end summary of 2022 on the American station Frisky Radio, he was chosen as the best artist of the past year. His solo tracks have been released on labels such as Get Physical Music, Einmusika, Sprout, Plattenbank, Beatfreak Recordings, Strange Town Recordings, Balkan Connection South America, Proton, Beat Boutique, Movement Recordings, Juice Box, and many others. His productions are supported by acclaimed artists from various countries such as Hernan Cattaneo, Chicane, Gai Barone, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Agoria, Anja Schneider, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Pete Tong, Solarstone, Solomun, and many more.
His tracks on Spotify have been played nearly 200,000 times, with „Entropia” reaching the milestone of 100,000 listens within a few months. In the past year, Cream recorded dozens of sets, totaling over 50 hours of music with its listenability on platforms like Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Proton Radio, and Frisky Radio in 2022 exceeded 500,000. He repeated this success in 2023, and his mixed sounds were heard worldwide, spanning from Poland to the United States, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, Argentina, the Netherlands, Brazil, Ukraine, Hungary, Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Spain, Turkey, Australia, Serbia, Colombia, South Korea, Iran, Sri Lanka, Romania, Bangladesh, Italy, Belgium, Israel, Switzerland, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Vietnam, Lithuania, Japan, Bulgaria, Peru, Sweden, Chile, Czech Republic, Austria, Cambodia, Greece, Ecuador, and up to Hong Kong and 110 other countries!
In 2022, Cream had performances in the biggest clubs across Poland, promoting electronic music, ranging from venues in the capital (Bank, Luzztro, Praga Centrum, Smolna) to Wroclaw’s „Transformator”, Szczecin’s Tanzbar, Poznan’s „Nurt” in the west, and appearances in the Tricity area at Sopot’s „Sfinks 700” and the „Wisloujscie” festival. The year also marked successes with performances in Europe: at the Hungarian club „Akvarium” and an invitation to the Amsterdam Dance Event, where he played at various locations in the Dutch capital. The current year continues to bring successes, including an invitation to the podcast for the Australian „Balance Selections”, return performances in Amsterdam (ClubNL), debut in Malta (The Playground), a tour in Sri Lanka, and a performance at one of the three largest festivals in the world, „Beats for Love,” where he was one of the few artists representing Poland at this exclusive festival in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Following Ostrava, there were performances in Austria, again in the Netherlands at ADE, a tour in Canada, and appearances at the largest festivals in the country, starting from Sunrise Festival and ending once again at the Wisloujscie Festival in Gdansk and Audiolake, where he shared the stage with artists such as ATB and Dosem. With over 36 years of experience as a DJ, Cream can confidently declare that music is his passion, one that lasts indefinitely.
